Effect on US and JapanYears after the War Japan was still dealing with radiation caused by the bombings on Hiroshima, and Nagasaki. This meant hundreds if not thousands of miscarriages, new genetic disorders within families, and a mass spread of cancer. America, after defeating Japan could now move to assist the Allies in defeating the Nazi party and ending the great war that much quicker.

Major Effects
New Organizations- The UN was made in order to bring countries together in devotion to destroying the German threat. After the war it was used to keep the peace between countries.
Changed Relationships- The US and Japan now have a long standing treaty that has not been broken since the ending of the war. New Tactics- The US began using new naval tactics such as "Wolf Packing." This was when multiple submarines would bunch together to destroy one target. Tactics like this were very effective in stopping Japanese shipping. Other Conflicts- No conflicts have since aspired between the Japanese and the United States. |
